THE PLOT:

The year is 1949 and former priest Father Merrin now a noted Archologist is asked to take Egypt to look into some strange accurances at a dig site. Merrin agrees to go. Where he meets Sarah and Joseph. The strange occurances continue to grow and stronger. It is said that Satan was banished to hell in this very spot and that he can rises certain points of the year.

This is a test of Marrin's wavering faith in God, if he can escape alive.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Okay, where to begin? The cast does a great job in this movie. The acting is Oscar caliber, but since it's a horror movie it was ignored. Of course. But it's not a perfect movie. None of the Exorcist movies were extremely fast pace, but this last installment is slow even by Exorcist standards. I mean, not much really happens for over an hour of the film. Allot of yakking about how a Nazi murdered a little girl right in front of him and that's why he started questioning God in the first place. Yak, yak yak. I really do not care. Finally something happens, then the fun begins. But it still kind of falls flat. I say that this is the worst of the Exorcist movies. I give it 6 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd on the "slow" part. It takes forever to get started and by the time it does, it's almost finished. I was disappointed with he climax, but I think it had to happen. Anyway, I agree with Zedd on one part, worst EXORCIST ever. I give it a mere 3 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CAST (A great cast does a great job.)
+ ACTING (Oscar worthy performenaces throughout the whole movie by the whole cast.)
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (The demon effects was just as good as the first movie.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- SLOW (Calling this slow pace would be an insult to slow pace. If it was any slower, it would be going backwards!)
- CLIMAX (Without giving it away, VOLTRON was disappointed witht the climax.)

- FAN BASED (If you aren't into the EXORCIST series in general, then stir clear of this one.)
