THE PLOT:

Zeus and Hera play games of life and death with mortal men. prophesied to take the throne of Thessaly, but when Jason unknownly rescues his Father's murderer from drowning, he is told to find the Golden Fleece. So Jason assembles a crack team of heroes to face the dangerous task of traveling to a remote island and find the Golden Fleece.

But there are many dangers and challenges between here and there and Pelias's true intentions are revealed. Can they defeat Pelias and save his kingdom?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Always been a fan of Harryhausen and this movie is not exception. It was nominated for best effects at the time and had a unheard of budget for a fantasy. The story works, the effects are assume. The acting is first rate. To be completely honest with you, I think this is the perfect movie for anyone who loves fantasy movies or Ray Harryhausen. To be honest, Ray confessed that they may have been less then honest with the living statue Talos in the size department, but the reason why Talos was so big made sense and to be completely honest with you, it was a cool change. So I forgive Ray for that embellishment on the legend. So here's to you Ray Harryhausen and 10 Big stars.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

Not only do I agree about what Zedd wrote, but I double that. if it was possible to give a movie more then 10 stars then this would be the movie. Action, monsters and great story equals one perfect movie. Of course that is our opinion, if you aren't big on the fantasy genre or stop motion monsters in general, then this is not the movie for you. 10 really big stars from me as well.
