THE PLOT:

Murder and Scully uncover their most perplexing mystery yet, why our own Government would commit an act of terrorism on U.S. soil that leads to the death of an FBI agent.

This leads the agent to project Blackwood and a connection to aliens and mutant bees that could spell the end of both of them once and for all.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I am a fan of the TV show X-Files and I'm big fans of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. The plot is just like a feature length episode of the TV show and that is a good thing. The cast does a great job, the effects are wonderful. The building blowing up in the first act was just great and totally realistic. That's all the good things I enjoyed about the X-Files movies, now my complaint, the reason why one of my favorite TV shows turned movie is not getting a perfect 10 stars, that reason beyond all else is this. I wish we were able to see the aliens more clearly, they were either moving really fast or hidden in shadow. They spent a fortune on alien monsters and don't show them off that well. That is my main complaint about the movie, other that then I consider it a great movie, however if you aren't a fan of the TV show, then you probably won't like this movie....8 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I am also a fan of the show and I agree with what Zedd wrote with gusto and I think that the movie ran a little long and dragged on a bit. But it also think that it is a must for all fans. 8 STARS as well.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ BIG BUDGET TV VERSION (This big budget TV movie is totally assume.)
+ MONSTERS (What you see of the monsters are pretty cool.)
+ CAST (It's always better when they use the cast from the TV show.)
+ ACTING (The acting was perfect.)
+ EFFECTS (The effects were perfect)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- MORE OF ALIENS (Wish we got to see the aliens more clearly.)
- LONG AND DRAGGY (At over two hours it does drag on at times.)

...AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on the TV show, then don't count on liking this movie.)
