The Chronicles of Narnia (International: English title) (short title)

THE PLOT:

During the Nazi Blitz of England four siblings are taken to the country where they can be safe from the raining death. But during a game of hide and seek they discover a magical world of Narnia through an old wardrobe.

But one gets involved with the White Witch who wishes to conquer Narnia, can the ancient prophecy stop the witch?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Right off the bat I can see the "religious" part of the movie, but honestly it's just the vague at best. I don't think the creator of these books had a Jesus comparison when he created the lion character, I think some people are writing way too much into it. But as for the story itself, I have been a fan since the BBC mini series a long time ago. But the new version with amazing effects makes me like it even more, 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I also agree with Zedd and I also never say anything religious in the story. Frankly I still don't see it, but that's just me. Maybe I'm crazy, but the story works, the effects work and the characters mostly work, there is one character I didn't care for, but it didn't hurt it that much. 9 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CHARACTERS (Most of the characters were interesting.)
+ EFFECTS (Killer effects.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ ATMOSPHERE (Like we were in the world of Narnia.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- CONNECTION TO JESUS (I think the connection between the lion and Jesus is mainly in people's minds.)

...AND FINALLY...

- MINOR CHARACTER ISSUES (There are minor character issues.)
