THE PLOT:

Rayne was born due to Kagan, the Vampire Lord raping her mother. Now Rayne, who has the vampire's powers has been recruited by a band of vampire slayers to stop Kagan's twisted plot to gather three sacred vampire objects that will increase his power and allow him to conquer the world.

So with Rayne's help, they are out to get the three treasures first in order to trick him into a trap. Which will not be easy, the treasures are guardded by monsters and deadly trap and Kagan has spies everywhere.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I love video games and even know I never got to play Bloodrayne the video game, yet. I know allot about the story and the character of Rayne. In my humble opinion, I feel that the writer and the makers stayed fateful to the essence of the video game, I for a party of one didn't see any major changes to the story or characters. The cast does a great job and the story is terrific. There are some minor character issues in the minor characters. But they are mild and don't take away from the final grade that much. All I have to say, if you are a fan of vampire movies or the video game. Then you will love BLOODRAYNE, however on the other side of the coin, if you aren't a fan of vampire movies or the video game, then this isn't the movie for you. 8 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd, I am looking forward for the upcoming Bloodrayne II later this year. But am disappointed that Kristanna Loken won't be starring as Rayne, it may not be as good. But we'll save that for when it comes out, but as for Bloodrayne 1, I give it 8 STARS as well.

+ STAYED FATEFUL (The movie plot and characters stays fateful to the original video games.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ EFFECTS (The effects are wonderful.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ FANS OF BLOODRAYNE (If you are a fan of the video games or in vampire movies in general. Then watch BLOODRAYNE.)
